Joy and Mattering at Crossan School

Joy Matters…

Joy and Mattering will be  incorporated into daily lessons to ensure that our leaders can connect to learning in the way that they learn best. Teachers will be intentional with including learning activities that allow for peer collaboration, dialogue, and creativity.

In addition, we will continue to offer fall and spring carnivals, trips, assemblies, themed dress down days, and incentivized competitions to increase leader involvement and participation.  We will have our student advisory board and peer mediation team to give our leaders voice in handling issues that confront our school.

Lastly, we will offer concerts, holiday events for families, math nights, class parent meetings, parent chaperones, and arts month to make sure that parents are involved in what we do.  The expectation of this endeavor is to increase connectivity between all stakeholders with the hope that they can associate our school environment with joy.
