STUDENT REGISTRATION

All student registration can begin by visiting the the school district’s website at: https://www.philasd.org/studentplacement/registration/.   Information can be found on this site regarding new registrations.  All registrations are conducted by appointment only, so call 215-400-3160 and schedule an appointment with Mrs. Riegler, our school secretary.

Once students are registered, parents have to attend a parent meeting to be properly informed about our school practices and expectations.  Your child can begin at Crossan that day after your parent meeting. This will allow the teacher adequate time to prepare for the student, so that they feel welcomed.  Once the school year begins, registration appointments are from 9:30-12:30 pm by appointment only.

LATE ARRIVALS

Children arriving after 8:35 AM are considered late.  If a student arrives after 8:35 AM during morning entry, that student is considered late and must enter the building from the Bingham Street doors.  Parents must escort late students into the building and the child will receive a late slip at the front desk.  Photo identification is required for parents/visitors to enter the building with late students.

BREAKFAST PROGRAM

Breakfast is served for students in grades K-5 from 8:15-8:30 am in the cafeteria. Breakfast will not be served to any student in the above mentioned grades after 8:25 am to avoid lateness. Students interested in having breakfast must use the Bleigh entrance to gain access to the lunchroom.   A Crossan Team member will be there to walk students to the cafeteria and guide them to class when they are finished eating.
